OUR
PRIMARY WORK

At present GeneThera’s main business is composed of assay and vaccine development for an international clientele, including ApiGen Corporation in Mexico, and IZSLER in Italy.

The company provides services related to testing of cow’s milk for Johne’s disease, and testing for Chronic Wasting Disease, Mad Cow Disease and E.coli 0157:H7. GeneThera has also completed research and development to provide adenovector purification for Xpention Genetics, Inc.

THE TECHNOLOGY    GeneThera bases its assay business on its Integrated Technology Platform (ITP) that combines a proprietary diagnostic solution called Gene Expression System (GESTM), with its system for analyzing large scale DNA sequencing that is called PurivaxTM. The first part of the ITP consists of ongoing development of molecular diagnostic assay solutions using a technology GeneThera calls “Fluorogenic Polymerase Chain Reaction (F-PCR), to detect the presence of infectious disease from the blood of live animals.

The second part of the ITP is the actual development of therapeutic vaccines, using RNA interference technology.

Each individual assay utilizes GeneThera’s proprietary testing kits that make possible effective blood sampling of remote domesticated animal herds or harvested animals. The kits contain specific reagents added to test tubes included with the kits. The kit system insures consistency of samples and increased assurance of sample integrity.

RECIPIENTS    Beneficiaries of GeneThera’s testing are ranchers and farmers who can test their animals at birth and also upon purchase of an animal.

GeneThera desires to be able to obtain USDA approval for vaccines usable in the United States for diseases like Mad Cow and Chronic Wasting Disease. However, the company needs investors to complete its research toward manufacturing and selling the vaccines. The company does not plan to produce or distribute the vaccines. Rather, it plans to license vaccines to a large pharmaceutical manufacturing company to facilitate company growth and product speed to market.
