WHO WE ARE     GeneThera, Inc., a development stage biotechnology company that focuses on the “crossover disease market,” we develop molecular assays for the detection of food contaminating pathogens, veterinary diseases, and genetically modified organisms that inhibit farm animals that potentially can transfer to humans through the food supply. The company develops specific assays for chronic wasting disease among elk and deer and Mad Cow Disease among cattle, and Johne’s disease. It also develops therapeutics and vaccines for E.coli (predominantly in cattle) and Johne's disease (predominantly dairy cattle and sheep, and bison). GeneThera, Inc. was founded in 1998 and is based in Arvada, Colorado.

Our goal is to transform testing, streamline the diagnostic process and test large amounts of blood samples at one time, from live animals. The results: the end of slaughter of entire herds of animals, much less expensive testing, test results within 24 hours, and the capability of repeating testing throughout an animal’s lifespan to ensure the best quality of food for human consumption. GeneThera has recently signed agreements regarding a laboratory facility, ApiGen, in Monterrey, Mexico, to validate GeneThera’s live animal testing and begin phase II and III clinals studies. More information about GeneThera is available on our Investors page.
